Trans Pro Logistics out of Montreal: I booked an ltl shipment out of the US coming to Ontario it turns out it is 3 skids more than was booked and they were hoping they could get me am extra 50 bucks for 3 skid spots. Not bad for 1500 miles huh? I needed an appointment to deliver as I could not get a straight answer, I called the receiver myself, they told me it was already booked and had a wednesday delivery.I asked who booked the appointment and found it to be another Ontario based broker. So I called the other broker and had a little talk with them about these guys.
So a long story short the second broker which is quite reputable pulled the load from them and sent me the confirmation to bill them directly.
Surprisingly Trans Pro Logistics was only making 100.00 off the shipment,Well that is if they ever actually intended on paying me.

$100 a pop and do 10 a day that's $1000 pure profit because you know they will not have any carrying costs on the money because they won't pay till they are paid. That is why double brokering is becoming the norm because people do not check up on who actually is picking up their freight and it is pure profit for the middle guy.

We did some freight for them too. Driver got stuck at the border because their customer didn't have proper paperwork and didn't want it to go in bond, even sent emails authorizing extra charges and a revised fax. We got the cheque and it was short exactly what they agreed to pay re: border delay. The dude there, Ron Fiorilli, is not to be trusted. I wouldn't do business with them. We're still dealing with that invoice.

they're on my NU list since march 2007, I blocked them because 1. bad rates, 2. bad credit 3. double brokering

Can you give me the phone number of these people. I don't want to confuse them with other Transpro companies.

How are payments from this company?

Anybody having trouble collecting from them now or in the past?

They average 43 days to pay with us - doing business since 2002 - recent loads as well paid on time - never had any problems.
