Has anyone else experienced the "book and slash" technique that Traffic Tech seems to consistently use?

They'll give you a lane and then after the first load, they'll say "Oh, can you do this for (insert amount here) less?"

Many years ago was reason i stopped quoting them anything. They like to take your rate and sell it then make their margin off working you for it.

Heard from a former employee at Traffic Wreck they like to make 40% off each piece of freight. Nice chunk of our money.

I got a call from Traffic Dreck (German for dirt) to quote some lanes that I was already quoting for the customer. I gave them rates that were 20% higher than I was quoting. They called me a few days later and asked if I could do any better on my rates so I told them I could but it would be better for me, not them. They stopped calling.
