I've been getting calls from TQL with a Ohio area code over the last six months. Today will be the 5th call in three months. I have explained time and time again, that we DO NOT double broker.

This guy sounded shocked that I had such a negative reaction? He questioned why we have a problem with it. Seriously? Is it just me or does anyone else have a problem with this? I have been polite and professional every time, but if he calls again after my making it extremely clear to not call us again, I am going to lose it on him.

Rant over :)

We've had it too. It has been awhile though since the last time I have heard from them. We give them the same explanation of double brokering every time but they just don't seem to get it.

He's probably just calling you off a posting, he isn't targeting you to annoy you, you just happen to have freight posted.

I thik they are paying some kids to look up the internet and find trucking companies (carrier, broker, ...) and solicite some freight... Not just from the link, we did get a call from them and we are not on the Link...

We haven't done anything with them for quite a while but at the time they would pay us to run down empty to VA and bring loads back on weekends and man did we ever charge them a lot.................I miss those days.

Why does this even surprise anyone? They hire agents whose job it is to generate margin, and they don't really care how. It just leads to everyone acting as cowboys and this is what happens.

Just got a call myself from these guys. They seem to be on some sort of Canadian broker blitz.
