Anyone else get this email from TPH?
Non-compete clauses usually aren't worth the paper the are printed on. Wonder if that would stick?

Dear Partner,

We are writing to inform you of an important matter and to help protect our carrier and supplier partners from potential misrepresentation.

Several former employees are no longer affiliated with Triumphant Logistics. We have become aware that some of these individuals may be contacting carriers and suppliers directly, referencing prior work with our company, and attempting to request services or information under false pretenses.

The individuals of concern include:

Robert Houser, Eugene Stam, Chris Macov, Andrew Grama, Logan Miles, Max Tribe.

We believe the individuals referenced above may be operating under the following entity:
Company Name: DLV LOGISTICS INC
USDOT Number: 4498661
MC Number: 1779381

Prior to their departure, these individuals were involved in unauthorized access to internal company systems, including the alteration of operational data and the unauthorized copying and use of confidential supplier information. As a result, we want to ensure our partners are fully informed and protected.

Please note that the individuals referenced above remain subject to binding confidentiality, non-solicitation, and non-competition agreements with Triumphant Logistics. Any unauthorized use or disclosure of customer, supplier, or operational information is a violation of those agreements.

Despite having no authority or affiliation with Triumphant Logistics, these individuals are contacting carriers and suppliers directly and spreading false claims regarding our company. We strongly encourage all partners to disregard any statements not coming directly from Triumphant Logistics.

Please be advised:
  • Robert Houser and Eugene Stam are not authorized to represent Triumphant Logistics in any capacity.
  • Any requests for loads, services, or information made by them are not associated with our company.
  • Triumphant Logistics has not changed its company name, banking information, or operating contacts.
Triumphant Logistics continues to operate normally and remains committed to professional, transparent, and reliable partnerships. We value our long-standing relationships and want to ensure that all communication and business activity involving our name is legitimate and properly authorized.

If you are contacted by either of the individuals named above and are unsure about the legitimacy of the request, we strongly encourage you to contact us directly for verification.

Thank you for your continued trust and cooperation. We look forward to continuing our business relationship.

Best regards,

In Ontario non-competes mean nothing.

You can get sued for taking information. Think customer contact info, lane rates etc. But for the most part, nothing sticks.

I've only heard of one instance where the court handed out any sort of penalty and it was a guy going from CN to CP and taking a ton of info he shouldn't have had access too.

Wish them the best of luck

Fortus Group did the same thing, and now TPH is doing the same. The truth is that they make such bad working conditions that everyone who gets hired quickly leaves....

Hello everyone,

My name is Luciano Rossi. I am writing this to share my experience as a former employee of Triumphant Logistics, where I worked in the accounting department.
I decided to leave the company because of serious internal issues related to transparency and payments. During my time there, the company was unable and unwilling to pay carriers properly, which I believe is completely unethical and unacceptable in this industry. In addition to that, I personally was not paid for my work.
What made the situation worse was that I was explicitly instructed not to respond to carriers who were asking about their payments. When I tried to raise these concerns with management and administration, I was told not to bother them with such questions and to avoid dealing with payments altogether.
The owner’s response was always the same and very clear: “do not promise anything to anyone.”

I am attaching a confirmation that reflects these instructions. For transparency, the owner was operating under the names Martin Newman, also known as Victor Ioxa.
This situation placed me in a position that went directly against my professional and personal values. I chose to leave because Triumphant Logistics does not represent honesty, accountability, or integrity, which are values I consider essential in any business relationship.

I am sharing this information to be transparent and to inform others based on my direct experience.

This just shows you of how corrupt and broken the logistics industry is in Canada and the USA. Thieves hide in plain sight, with allias names - from my experience that entire company is one big fraude operation that only paid carriers during covid times when they needed them.

Meanwhile they are operating without any consequences.

I would love to hear from him or them. By the way good for you Luciano Rossi

Good on you sir.

I do have question - are you physically located in North America? or is this company fully operating from EU?

This post is kind of dangerous as from what Luciano is saying, I take it, is that he was not paid for his services and is upset (understandably) about it.
He is saying a lot of things in there about a TPH that is harsh and hard to believe and the proof he provided doesn't show what he was saying.
Everyone that reads the thread will assume that TPH is a bad company, and they may very well be, but it also could be untruthful. Finding the truth here is not something we may ever know but as I said, these types of posts are potentially dangerous and damaging..
I really am just playing the devils advocate here and urge everyone who reads this to research on their own or post with their experiences but I wouldn't rely on one post to make up m mind about a person or company.
Just my thoughts.

That's a fair point, and I agree such messages can be dangerous,

I am not desperate to prove what was said but maybe this helps, since more people can be involved in my story but only if you'd have the desire to dig under this situation,

At the moment of leaving, Triumphant was in ~200k debts for carriers, some of them include:

INNOVATORS TRUCK LINE-190+ days with no payment
MATHIEU LAVOIE 9432-9893 QUEBEC INC=200+ days with no payment
T.A.S.K. CARRIERS INC=260+ with no payment
Priority Logistics Inc=190+ days with no payment

(constant carriers) Bosco Boys Distribuitors, Hawks Transportation, Sunfire Transport, Galaxy Freightline, ET transport - were always delayed in 50-70 days payments even tho all the clients were paying on time, all of them

If you have any contacts/friends at any of above companies, you can check by yourself

We've heard that he acquired a new place for living :)) a pretty expensive one that could explain all this
