Will the freight break down and fit in a couple of suit cases? I always wanted to see the islands @ someone else's expense.

Seriously though, Hi is typically served out of the ports in So Cal.

Something like that is probably best to get a common carrier to move for you.

Ralph, if it fit in suitcases I would probably be somewhere over the Pacific as we speak. I know it's going to be put on a boat in Los Angeles, just wondering if anybody may have someone they have used in the past. Thanks...

On Small stuff like this... I've trucked it to LA and handed it off to Saia Trspt (if you have an account with them) a US LTL Common Carrier. They have 2 day service to the island.

You could also speak with Garry Mercer's LA office. They don't directly service HI but do know of some that do from LA.

UPS Freight is another option although they're expensive.

One of our customers uses Hawaiian Express, We'd get the freight to them and then they'd take it from there. We tried quoting with common Carriers (Con-way & OD) but were much more expensive then what they offered
