We seem to be having some problems collecting from TLI Flatdecks out of Surrey, BC. Has anyone done anything with them and had any problems?

Could just be rumor. We were told by freinds in BC that they closed the doors this morning. Called the office and they are still answering the phones, but would appreciated it if they just pay their bills. Invoices out standing from June 09.

Now I'm scared...

Against my better judgement, we did another load for them on Oct 20/09.
Oct 28th - Talked to Stacey in A/P and confirmed she had recieved invoice & POD's and that they were now paying in 90 days. told her that was un-acceptable.
Nov 9th - Talked to Carole - A/P manager and she again stated they paid 90 days. Told her I needed to talk to someone in there that can pay me sooner. She transfered me to Jason, their controller. He said the best he can do is move me to the top of the list and try to get me paid in 45 - 50 days.

TLI Sold

Just got off the phone with A/P at Finning Canada and, according to their accounts payable (who btw are very well aware of TLI non payment problems because of literally hundreds of calls to them) person Beth, has been sold to Challenger including all of their payables.
A rep for Challenger is stationed at Finning so I tend to believe this one and have forwarded her all of my TLI info.
Now I don't know if thats good or bad since we've never done business with Challenger.
Keeping my fingers crossed......

Can't be any worse!

We were told by our contact at Transborder Logistics International (TLI) that Challenger is buying out their van division. They also said that Challenger would not be paying any of the TLI payables, they would only be paying the payables that are incurred after the buyout takes place.

Recieved this email from Finning:

"Unfortunately there is nothing I can do for you. We have received notification that all outstanding invoices have to be paid to TLI. You will need to contact them to get payment on all outstanding invoices. You can contact Stacey Palsenbarg @ stacey@tliflatdecks.com. I have been told that every effort will be made to have all invoices paid. "

Grrrrr.....

Will keep working on getting paid but, man I tired of chasing money

Don't hold your breath. I have been waiting to get paid on a 23000.00 invoice from them. Dizzy from the run around too.

Time to see if Timmies will hire me. Atleast I know I will get my pay check.
