Titanium Logistics Inc.

Picked up a load for them on Friday.... errr Friday night. We were told to be there before noon and arrived before 10 AM -- apparently their shipper leaves at 10 AM on a Friday. We waited around till 4 PM to have a sign of getting loaded, cause "Jeff" was a good guy that pulled my leg and I fell for it. About 4:45 PM, I get a call from him, who has to get out to go to his son's, sister's, cousin's, second-roomate's former dog owner's funeral/wedding/ballgame extravaganza and he then needed us to blind bill to a new location. Great... Of course, we show up to the cosignee and they don't want the load so now I'm chasing a receiver down and the one guy that knows what's going on doesn't show up to work until 10 AM.... another missed reload and loss of revenue for me -- nothing out of their pocket (if they pay up to begin with...)

Sigh.

They fired Jeff that worked there... he was one that I had the "luck" to deal with...

I put them on my DNU list. Horrible service, horrible pay terms... and when something doesn't go right, they turn their phones off at 3:30pm and claim they're gone on a Friday afternoon, leaving a truck stranded in the deep south.

ARGH!

Excellent company - couldn't disagree more with some of the service comments below. They've been around for almost 10 years and we really appreciate their work.:)

Titanium

Yea I worked for them in 2008-2009 about $5,000.00 --$10,000.00 per mth. Paid in 30-45 days. Then I did a couple of bigger moves for them about $40,000.00 in a couple of weeks - took six months to get that paid. Needless to say that was the last one.

We accepted to do one shipment for these guys on a COD basis only due to credit report issues. They accepted the terms to overnight check....guess what....they fogot to overnight it....for 10 days. Stay away, a bunch of jerks....totally communicative when they needed the service and agreed to payment terms, and once service was provided, no one was available to fulfill their side of the agreement.
Just my 2 cents

Titanium went into a customer in my area and lowballed the rates. It's not even good freight, really. I'm sure they still brokered out the freight and kept the stuff that made sense. Still, if that's their approach, it wouldn't surprise me if they have a lot of what I'd call bottom-feeder customers who have horrible payment histories and want only to beat down rates. Bottom-feeder customers generally seek out bottom-feeder carriers. Enough said.

They have the 2 divisions ... Trucking and Logisitcs ... they are related but are run as seperate entities.

Trucking is pretty good -- when they are on one of our loads I'm pretty certain it's going to go OK.

Logistics -- listen, the guy who is the Pres is a CA -- he's all about the $ and cash flow ... so he's probably paying according to the speed of his customers. I don't agree with it but this is how he is. I've known him personally for a long time.

Also, there is a silent partner with DEEP pockets there ... they aren't going anywhere.

Titanium is still in acquisition mode. The last acquisition I heard of was Flatliners ... so they're getting into everything it seems.

Isn't Titanium Logistics and Transport affiliated with Reliance Windows, Vision Outdoor Products and more....located in Woodbridge correct?

It actually is. They're all listed as 'de Zen' group of companies ... and hey, they're on Zenway (go figure).

A lot of the outbound freight is actually for Reliance and Vision. I hear that they're looking for small OTR players and a small freight forwarder, but even more they want to buy a freight brokerage specializing in IB freight.

Not stupid guys but I have to admit, they're not known as the nicest people out there.
