Good afternoon,

Has anyone given work to:
Tharmee Transport
16 Youngstar Trail
Brampton, ON
L6P 1P5

How was the service received?

I ask because we have just caught them rebrokering our load to another carrier. As soon as the second carrier had the load they knew it was ours. They called in and of course we're going to 'cut out' Tharmee and pay the hauling carrier directly.

Keep well,
Mike

Hm, so there's a potential for this to be a one-off.

I can understand why a carrier would have to rely on another if perhaps they lost other ltl for their truck. I get that. The not telling me that you are rebrokering my freight is an issue.

Thanks for the feedback DC, I'll give them a call and see what they have to say. I'm still paying the hauling carrier directly for the load though.

Keep well, Happy FRIDAY!
Mike

Update:

Tharmee Transport rebrokered my load to a great carrier BEFORE it was picked up from my shipper. I called him on it, should have recorded the conversation (with consent of course). He didn't want to let me down, I'm an important customer, he paid more to the other carrier. Too funny... I'll just DNU and avoid wondering in the future.

Keep well,
Mike

HI MIKE AND EVERY ONE.
I have been working as a carrier since September 2018.
based on my experience even larger carrier more then 40 trucks doing same thing under there PARS/PAPS.
Several reason for that will discuss later on.
It happened to me searching load and whenever called directly to broker same answer load is covered and sitting 4 day 5 days at home then get 1 Small leads for around 8oo miles at break even cost.
so sometime to sustain in the market what we need to do. crusaders cargo is also an example for that.

sir did load for tharmee they operate from home and one office in montreal. they paid me within 2 weeks.
I'm glad to hear they paid you in 2 weeks, whereas we got paid after a few months....maybe they pick and choose who to pay quickly?

We did a load for them back in October- still waiting to be paid.
Tried to give them a load to Montreal but cancelled; I wonder why?

On our DNU list.

I have been working with them for the past 6 months. I started with 1 truck and now they give me load for 3 trucks. Their payment term is really awesome. If I take quick pay, they pay within 48 hours with 3%. For normal pay, they take up to 45 days for me, which is not bad I think. I hear only good things from other carriers as well. I don't know where you things went wrong for you guys. Hopefully everything is resolved for you guys. :D

I am not protecting them. I am sharing my experience. And mine is a pleasant one.

They owe you money? You should call them and inquire. I don't see why they wouldn't pay you if they owe you.

They really like to do Double brokerage and paying carriers close to 90 Days. You gotta call them every day or email them if you like to get paid.

Good thing they do EFT. So no cheque in the mail thing...............
