I gave a shipment to these guys in October and was invoiced to me through a factoring company in November, 2020 - there is no signiture on the pod from the consignee. Have been trying to get a pod because my customer says they did not receive the freight. All there numbers/emails work - but not getting any answers - anyone else looking for them or have a suggestion?

I would recommend that you submit an INTENT TO CLAIM for lost goods and send it to the carrier , their insurance broker/insurance company, and their factoring company. That usually will get them to obtain the POD quite quickly as it will be needed to clear the claim. The factoring company should have confirmed all the documentation before sending it to you and they'll need to know that there is an issue. Lastly it will also protect your interests should the freight actually be missing and your customer needs compensation.
That makes sense as it was an Ontario only load but having MC and USDOT is pointless for this carrier as they do not have an active carrier authority for the US.
Make sure you follow up with a formal claim if you don't hear from them - don't let it lapse. Include your freight charges and the value of the missing freight. No insurance company wants to have a value under reserved and will press the carrier to resolve it quickly.

SWC is simply going to walk away from this. It is for sure they brokered the load out to someone else, and it is highly unlikely they paid anyone to do the job.
For sure it's a "grab the cash and run" scheme. Check Google Maps ... 43 Trail Rider Drive is in a subdivision, and if mapping is up to date, is either an empty lot or new house under construction.

It's quite likely you're right but since the freight has not been paid yet @Cindy still has a chance. If she gets their insurance company involved (sooner the better) she may be able to get enough information to find out if it was double-brokered and at least have an argument not to pay until someone finds the freight.
