Great another one of my lanes all screwed up. Why would you post something like that on here? Barginbuyers... I can just imagine. Do you not know of any carriers? Sometimes people do not think. This is unreal.
 
Bargainbuyers, are you a carrier or freight broker looking for someone to assist on this lane? Or are you a customer using this forum as a rate tool to cut out your current carrier or freight broker?

I am wondering if that was aceofspades concern as it is mine?
 
I am a broker who does not normally work that lane with that type of equipment, so I was looking for a little help. Maybe someone is interested. I am not trying to cut anybody's throat.
The company I work for is Timeline Freight Systems. We have been in business for over 15 years and have good relationships with many carriers, many of which use this forum.

Just trying to make use of technology to make life a little easier.

If you have been in this business for 15 years you would think that Timeline would have contacts to run these lanes. I can think of a few just off the top of my head. Don't be so lazy and make some phone calls.
 
sometimes when you call asking for a rate either people say fax it over or email it. i use this myself and at times is easier then posting on link to get suggestions for carriers who service those lanes.
barginBuyer shows 30 posts on here just to keep in mind.
 
I am a little confused: Did he not post in the proper thread? If he did then what is the issue? If this thread is for quotes and that is what he is looking for then.....???
 
Hey Packrat I agree with you I do not see anything wrong with posting on here. I just read an article that for the older crowd on here that email will be passe (sp) in the next few years.....twitting tweeting im'ing etc etc will be the mode. I wish I could find the article because we actually had a meeting on it and will look for a university or college student this summer to explore all the latest communication modes and how we can use them to our benefit. Gotta stay a step ahead.

I'll give you the same rate I gave everybody else that's trying to move those blasting mats to Kershaw, $3,100 CDN all incl. and BTW if you've never moved Blasting mats before, it always ends up being a full load.
