Invoices from june are unpaid, anyone else having issues collecting funds from Steadfast Logistics? I am starting to get a little concerned.

Hey Montreal Trucker,

Yep, I am having issues with these people as we speak. They seem to have trouble keeping their promises...

My invoice is nearing 60 days... We'll see.

Still nothing from these people at Steadfast and my invoice is now 70 days old. I have had to send a fax to the owner, Dianna, to let her know her customers will be hearing from me tomorrow if this is not cleared up... We'll see...

Mine is only from August, but once they get over the 60 day mark I start feeling paranoid... Especially if they are not returning calls...

Well, unfortunately I had to call Steadfast's customer to let them know their broker is not paying bills. I left a message for their accounts payable staff, and then I faxed them a copy of all the paperwork and my invoice, explaining that we will all go to small claims if somebody doesn't pay me for my work.

That got me a quick reply from Diana at Steadfast. She of course gave me the "cheque's in the mail" story. I figured I would humour her, I told her I would allow one more day to see if it would be in the mail the next morning. Of course, it was not there this morning.

I spoke to Diana after checking the mail and she has graciously decided to take my suggestion and has told me she will stop payment on the original cheque (you know, the one that's in the mail) and reissue one that I am sending Fedex in to retrieve for me. With her customer watching this all unfold, I am sure she will keep her word.

This fiasco has earned Steadfast Logistics a spot on my DNU list.

OntarioSweetie, good luck with the bill you are trying to collect from them, you know what to do if you have to, to get paid.

steadfast

i believe if you search them on here, someone else has already started a thread on them. Took me months and many excuses to get paid by these people. DEF. put on the DNU list!!!!

At the moment waiting for payment on invoices dating back to mid august. Some of the older invoices were recently paid off. Approaching 90 days and getting very nervous, this is a very large amount of money for me. I am pretty sure they will eventually catch up but until that happens, it's a very unpleasant experience with voice mails and dealing with Rubina in accounting, She always has an excuse it seems. Dispatcher Bobby and Nora are first class people that are pleasant to work with and very proffesional, the same can't be said for accounting.

I don't think you want to wait much longer to get heavy on them MontrealTrucker, a company like this could be gone in a sudden POOF!... I would recommend speaking to Diana, I believe she is the owner. I think her extension is 222. After dealing with me the other day she now knows that when people threaten to call her customer due to non-payment, that they WILL actually make the call.

As for Rubina, yes, she seems to have trouble returning messages and keeping her word. When I originally called on this invoice she told me it would be paid in early October. The last I spoke to her she had changed her tune and said it was mailed late October. It is now November 9, and although I have had Diana stop payment and reissue a new cheque which I picked up by Fedex, I have still not received the cheque she said was mailed in late October.

they are not answering anymore, since december 21st,,even people working close to their office have not seem them for a while,,it does not look good..many people are gonna get screwed on this one,,

Talked to Bobby yesterday and he has left Steadfast. He didn't even know what was happening till recently.

We did 2 jobs for them back in September....amazingly enough, we got one check at about 40 days. The second check never showed. Left countless messages, no calls returned....so, we faxed the bill to their customer and gues what...2 days later, a call from Diane with a whole 'i'm so sorry for the delay...' bs...your check is ready if you want to come pick it up, so we did, and it cleared :)
One deadbeat down....countless more to go.

They owe us some money too (couple of thousands). their office is still there but no one is showing up as of late. We went there yesterday to see what was happening.

I have notice that in the link the website for Steadfast is a site that belongs to Leetwo metal in Pointe-Claire. The logistics advertising is removed from that site site but we still can ask for transportation quotation which is strange for a metal company.

I have been told that the owner also has a transport company but I do not know what is the name.

I find this very strange and want to search what is the relationship between these 2 companies and will look at the address with the government to see if the transport company is at that address as well.

Will keep all of you updated on what I find out about these goofs, hopefully soon.

What a small world, my brother in law worked for Lee Two as a tool and die maker over 15 yeras ago and was never well treated. Several years later I was surprised to find out that this same company also had a load brokerage division. I had done a few loads for them but did not like their association with Lee Two. The name was not STEADFAST though. They paid us for our loads and then fizzled out.

Does anybody know for sure that steadfast has disappeared? Anybody get ahold of diane lately?

steadfast

We are not able to have a hold on him, nobody in the office, but they still pay the rent.

Steadfast Logistics

Leetwo Metal in Pointe-Claire has been erroneously linked to Steadfast Logistics.

They used to rent office space from us; however, they moved out September 30, 2007.

Steadfast Logistics are not a part of Leetwo.

Thank you.
