owes us 435.00 from april. complete fools-cheque is mailed, then its not, then its mailed a differnt day,then the mail with the cheque is returned to them, etc. bobby always answers the phone-he says raj is in charge of payments but i have never spoken to him-bobby says he is never in and doesn't have a cell phone!!!

I too am having some serious trouble getting an invoice paid by Spool. And it is only $400!! I have had the same issues... check is mailed, then it isn't, then it is... Now nobody will ever answer the phone, it just goes to voice mail. I tried the number for their other office in Indiana, and was given a 'new number for head office in Ontario'... but when I called said 'new number', it went to a voice mail that is not set up. I tried to call the Indiana office back, and now I only get their voice mail there too... I have been trying to get this paid since February.... BEWARE if you use Spool Transport, you likely will have the same luck. :(
 
The Spool Fool's are all idiots and their physical address is at 189 Rexdale Blvd. I believe Rick is the actual owner.

To the best of my knowledge they aren't connected. I spoke with Pete over at Spool in Crossfield, AB, and he says he didn't even know there was another Spool Transport.

LOL!!!!! You're right on the money with that one.

They owed us $500, I believe, maybe more. In the end after alot of hassle we finally collected after contacting the shipper receiver and also talking to Chucks Cartage, who pointed us in the right direction. Once we did get a hold of Bobby, the games began. Bobby, Raj, both of those guys are seriously dimwitted. We sent UPS to go pick up the cheque, they closed the office and took off, UPS guy called us and said he saw them closing up and taking off as soon as he pulled in.
We rerouted one of our drivers a few days later to go pick up the cheque as I was on the phone with Bobby. He paid up.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE GUYS IN ANY WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
OMG...Never again will I deal with these guys...started calling me after 3 days for payment and they had factored the bloody thing!! I got 17calls - no joke - 17 calls in less than 30 days..

I told them one more call and you'll see your money in 90....and they don't pay their bills on time??? The nerve of some people!!!!

BLOCKED!!!

Still calling me 1 week after check was cashed????...Check was cashed 32 days after delivery. I hope you folks get paid & please call them 3 times a day untill you get paid.....

Return the damn courtesy.....this company stinks!

I did a load for Spool Transport Ltd. from Alberta in November 2010. They were nice to deal with and paid on time. I suspect they are two different comapanies.

I am waiting on a Cheque from Spool Trans from September. They keep saying they are going to pay and dont. I have an address of 31 Hugo Road in Brampton. Is this the same person?

I dont know about the brampton address, but i know they park some of their trucks on rexdale rd just before kipling on the south side close to bmo in a small truck parking yard

Just wanted to say that Spool Transport in Crossfield Alberta has nothing to do with Spool in Ontario.

Spool Trans US Dot 1484876 is no longer operating but Bobby the owner is operating U & Me Logistics. If Spool Trans owed you money you will be happy to know that Bobby invested your money and opened the Shoeless Joes in Bolton (Hwy 50 and McEwan) - drop by and see him, I did several times and got my money (for reservations his cell number is 416-841-0971).

To clarify some entries on this thread - this company is not connected with the Alberta Spool. 31 Hugo in Brampton was (maybe still is) Bobby's house.
