Has anyone heard that SP is holding freight and demanding payments before they deliver? If you pay them before they deliver, will they deliver? Is this a new concept for them?
Seen all the western canada carriers do this. NJ transport is even worse. First they'll get other shipments in your trailer and then make the trailer dissappear only to know that you're not setup in their credit system to have credit terms. These people take hostages and get joy out of it. Not too sure about SP, they're ok but shouldn't demand payment prior to load delivering unless your credit as a broker is bad of course.
is this SP freight out of Brampton? Stay away from them. They'll probably double broker it anyway. If they owe you money they treat you like a piece of s**t and the accounts payable women said to me, at 92 days; do you want to get paid? after hanging up on me twice. I believe that SONNY, who is mentioned in other threads, is the boss there.
