SKN Logistics went bankcrupt

It seems like a very low amount if it was planned, this is the second bankruptcy we have seen in the last little while that seems like a small amount that with a good plan could have been overcome. I know anyone on the list will not like this comment but I think if they where truly being dishonest that number would have been way higher.

When Broker's big client goes bankrupt, Broker also have chance to go bankrupt. last year a broker told me that their big client filed bankruptcy so it will take time to pay the Invoice. now a lot of good logistic companies going red at loadlink credit scores.
 
If the end carrier was not paid, can they not contact the shipper and receiver for payment under Ontario law?
