Looking for credit info on this company

They seem to answer the phone as two companies.

Payables seems to prolong communications via e-mail smoke screen with scant replies.
Invoice is getting ripe around 80 days.
Apparently check was sent via Canada Post late January, Lower Canada may be to far for standard postal delivery form Mississauga.

Shamrock could be division of Pacer Global. Have dealt with them before, and was paid for the work. Might be slow, but you'll get it.

Haven't done too much with them as their rates aren't the best out there.

Thanks!

Just searched an old thread and found a comment describing a situation very similar to ours. Dealing with a young lady called Terry who is only there part time.

Shamrock, like Profex, is a Pacer Global AGENT. They are affiliated, but you get paid straight from the agent rather than centrally from Pacer.

I've heard rumblings that Pacer is trying to centralize and ditch all the agents ... but this has been going on for over a year, so who knows?

Payment

Made enough of a pain out of myself to get check re - issued ( was there ever a 1st one?)
Check is ready - PURO is going in tomorow better pay $25.00 than lose the lot!

We have taken loads posted on Loadlink under Pacer but then the confirmation is sent as Shamrock. But we always got paid. PJ was the rep.

Pacer / Shamrock

Used them once.

Their attitude in trying to collect an invoice well over 60 days old.

Leaving two messages for each Pacer A/P and then Terry A/P for Shamrock

Never returns calls, can never speak to a real person, can only get voice mail and e mail.

Now one is away for a week ...on holidays so we have to wait until she comes back in 10 days, and the other A/P with Shamrock refuses to help.

Dispatch is being warned to stay away from them.

May be a good company, but their attitude in paying their bills is very disappointing.

Pacer / Shamrock

Dispatch was desperate .... took a second load.

Here we are at 90 days for the invoice, and no cheque or positive communication in sight.

He won't do that again, they are now on our DNU list.

Looks like these are old posts, but just to add, these days Shamrock-Pacer settlements are consistently around the 30-day mark, especially on orders booked by independent dispatch agents such as Samson Deb, who make sure carriers get paid on time. Nothing to worry about with Shamrock-Pacer, especially when dealing with Samson Deb.

We have had them on hold since 2017. At that time we had an outstanding invoice over 90 days. When speaking to Pat/PJ, I was told that ;
'We've been in business over 20 years and I pay whom I want when I want. Its never been an issue and you'll get paid. If you don't like it then don't use us.'
I put them on hold-we haven't moved a piece of Pacer/Shamrock freight since. To get the invoice paid I had to call XPO and make a claim against their bond and it was promptly paid at 121 days. The postmark on the envelope was two days after I made the claim.
I don't know who Samson Deb is but if Pat or PJ is still involved they will continue to be on hold.

This is Samson Deb, by the way, for certain clients my company has an agency relationship with Shamrock-Pacer. PJ dispatches some orders for me, and he is a solid guy, Shamrock-Pacer is reputable, in the same location for over 20-years. You can count on getting paid. I don't know the specifics of Jim's issue, but glad it ended well, there are both sides to every story, but other than the occasional claim or problem load which can drag on sometimes, hundreds of orders are paid out on time every month to many carriers. For any and all loads booked thru Shamrock-Pacer by me especially, you can count on me to follow thru to the end and make sure you are settled. You won't have a problem.
