Hey, listen everyone. Nobody's perfect and sometimes stuff is going to happen.

BUT there's usually a consequence when something happens and in this case it's that the truck left.

BTW -- if it's LTL, no way one can wait ... when it's truckload, it can usually work out but if someone thinks it's too much trouble, well that's what happens. There are some areas where there are 4-5 loads to Canada for every load going out, so everyone has to be mindful of this and make sure their stuff is marketable.

"My 2 cents" spend less time on inside transport and more time calling your customer to find out when a load will be ready, making sure it's stacked when that's how it's billed and confirming footage. hagd

Looks like we caught these guys double brokering today. Booked a load with them for agreed pick up between Noon-5pm in IN. Driver showed up at 8am and then after waiting a few hours decided he wasn't going to wait until the original agreed ready time so he took off to pick up something else himself. The dispatcher JOT said she had no control over the driver and at one point said it was someone picking up on her behalf. She was called out on it and had nothing really to say.

Previously their record with us was clean but now I need to review. Worst part is we got this order 2 days in advance to ensure we get it back for before the US holiday, so much for that. Luckily the client was understanding.

they did the exact same thing to us, load was ready later, they didn't wait, told the shipper to take it off and left, I asked why they did that, they just got another load and left.
