Hi there,

Does anyone have any service history on the following carrier:

Service Express LTL Inc.

Note that the broker 'GMR Transport' is also at the same address and phone/fax number...

I've a b-train FB load pending and wonder if Service Express LTL Inc. is credible...

Mike @ Service Express just finished doing a load for us and it went exceptionally well.

Great at letting us know where our load was every morning.

I had the same concerns regarding GMR and still don't understand it all but he did an awesome job for us and would recommend and use him again.

Seeing the words 'exceptionally well' will help me sleep better this weekend while this baby is in transit.

Good evening,

Just to clarify things for future users, Service Express LTL is an entity owner partly by the same owners of GMR and one of their dispatchers Mike. I am one of the three. We work our trucking business from the same computer as Mike will do serve both roles so when you call you'll hear us answering GMR. But separate accounting, separate jobs, separate link, i can assure you load will not be double brokered as we have plenty of jobs in our hands to deal with as freight brokers. If help are requested for example, from other good brokers we deal with, like Motrux, we'll let them know. We currently run 6 trains out west. I know names sounds like crap now, as the meaning was intended for a different scope at first and then we changed a bit the vocation of it. Usually, personnally, when i see a name like this i go away without even calling! But this is different. We know the business, offer fair deals for b-train uses because of the joined operations and frankly i see no difference between this set up and 70% of trucking businesses who now have a brokerage division and has access to portray them as brokers or carriers on the link as they wish. Posting loads and trucks shall not be allowed on the same account, as far as i am concerned but this is another story.
 
I should post a followup regarding the service received.

Excellent communication, arrived on site 2 hours early for pickup apt and 1 day early for delivery. We were kept up to date all the way and the consignee was happy to offload the 87000 lb load early.
