Both shipper AND carrier made the poor decision to use those brokers.. Carrier also CHOSE to do business with Schroeder & Maisliner..

Good point, but at the time Maisliner had a 35 days to pay average with us; nothing to worry about - then they gave us 10 loads - close to 20 000$ then bankrupted about a month after. Writing checks they could not cash so to speak. That was rough to deal with. But you are right though, the Schroeder one could of been avoided with a little research.

The name is below. They are representing GIGG and in the matter of Maisliner. My guess is that they are calling everyone on that vendors payable list in the bankruptcy proceedings. There may be some synergies involved if you can get a bunch of other carriers information and there is some overlap between claims.
