Both shipper AND carrier made the poor decision to use those brokers.. Carrier also CHOSE to do business with Schroeder & Maisliner..
Good point, but at the time Maisliner had a 35 days to pay average with us; nothing to worry about - then they gave us 10 loads - close to 20 000$ then bankrupted about a month after. Writing checks they could not cash so to speak. That was rough to deal with. But you are right though, the Schroeder one could of been avoided with a little research.Both shipper AND carrier made the poor decision to use those brokers.. Anyone else getting a call from a law firm in Burlington ( sorry did not get the name) saying they are going to go after the money carriers are owed with demand letters to the shippers and receivers?
Yep = find it really bizarre that they omitted the name of the firm that they allegedly represent.
