Samrath Enterprises - 60 Eastern Avenue - Brampton

Stay away from this outfit - still chasing for 1 May invoice - couple hundred dollars. Rick in A/P too busy to get back to you - told "cheque in the mail" twice now....

Not worth the hassle people - added to the DNU club....
 
Still chasing this guy for payment....

I was advised by a good source that Samrath is the same owners as bankrupt Punu Transport plus one other person.

STAY AWAY....BEWARE....BEWARE....

S.P. FREIGHT SYSTEMS - SERIOUS LET DOWN

Unfortunately Rick (I have no idea if this is the same Rick as Samrath) had an opportunity to handle a TL shipment for me from AB into PQ. After 36 hours of no show and broken promises (and cancelling with him). He made one last promise to send in a team that would deliver this TL in 2 days... You'll be shocked to hear that a truck showed up asking to be loaded and had only one driver. Rick told me that the second driver was 30 minutes away at a Flying J taking a shower and that he/she would be picked up after loading...

I'm not sure that 'do not use' are strong enough words to use.

Thanks to Andy Transport (and many others including Lonestar) as in the end we all god the job done.

Short version:

DNU!!! - in my opinion anyone who gives me 60 Eastern Ave as location.

Several companies operate out of Brampton that are less than ethical, although there are some amazing providers in Brampton. Some examples of the wonderful ones are: Travelers, York, Kris Kay, Forbes, United, Fortel and Holmes... Brampton is a big place!

I'll certainly let you know of all the ones that I find are not to par to save you the potential headache.

Well said Mike Jr. Brampton is a big place these days (and getting bigger). It contains... the good... the bad... and the ugly.
 
A load from Alberta to the east is hard to come by on a good day so I don't understand why any carrier would want to screw that up.
 
SP freight --- Samrath

Just got a call from SP Freight-Rick to cover a load going west. They gave me references that didnt know who they were and have only used them once - a year ago. Rick said he was from Samrath...by the looks of it not a good thing to admit..
 
Abe,

Save yourself the trouble....Samrath is already noted on this site - I posted about this horrible company to warn others. They don't have any money and were dropped by their factoring company.

They have absolutely no intentions of paying their bills....

Stay far away from Samrath Enterprises - good thing our receivable was for a small amount only....
 
Did a search for these guys in May and did not find anything . Fortunately for us it is only $800 But Darn doesn't it make you mad when they have nothing but congratulations for our work (probably because we saved the day) but now the only person I get to actually speak to is the dispatcher. The accountant has always 'just left for the day' when I call and Sonny, the owner, has always 'just left for the day too. And then after taking attitude, I am told that MY ATTITUDE will not play in favor of my getting paid... So, they pump you up and then tell you that your attitude towards him is not helping to get paid, when you loose patients...
I'm going to enter this under a new heading that is S.P. FREIGHT SYSTEMS just to make sure that no one else gets taken in by them...but then again, they'll just change their DBA 1526302 Ontario, Inc.
