Royal Traffic

In all Fairness to Bev, we did get paid the Friday before Last via direct deposit. It took awhile and the move is legit, but my advise is keep calling. The Squeaky Wheel gets Oiled First.....................

They should at least come up with a better excuse.. I had a shipper stall me one time.. They couldn't cut me a cheque because the owner of the business was out of the country. I asked where.. "somewhere on a cruise" is the answer I got. Three months later, still no check..I called again and asked if the owner got stranded on an island.. They had forgotten about the cruise story and stated the check signer had died.. Finally I did get a check. It was a miracle as the check signer had come back to life after the funeral and signed my check.

We did get paid up on everything, about two weeks after my last post on this thread. My dispatcher asked for the file and he continued to call daily. Money was finally sent via EFT. I certainly understand your frustrations Martinetav and keep those phone calls coming, eventually she will get tired of hearing from you and send you money..... Definitely on our DNU!!!

They likely loaded up on some deadbeat shippers and now having difficulty.. but not your problem. Keep leaning on them..

Royal Traffic has closed up. Got in touch with Tammy who worked for Bev and confirmed she closed up shop. Burned for $5175 and had been dealing with Bev for over 20 years.

I guess it is safe to say (if, of course this is true), that the customers of Royal Traffic are going to be receiving some interesting phone calls from unpaid carriers.

She was suppose to pay us about two weeks ago... by direct deposit. Sent her our information and everything. 8 months since billed. She was always long to pay but never like this. I had a feeling that something was wrong.

Going after her shippers might be an option, but in all likelihood Royal got into trouble because her shippers were the problem...that's often what happens. Very easy to pay promptly when you've got good shipper accounts. Likely her acounts stiffed her and now she can't pay her carriers. it's also possible that she was drawing to much out of the business to finance a lavish lifestyle..who knows.. My brother in law is in the sme boat. He owns one straight truck and is now in the hole to the tune of 30K. thanks to a bunch of deadbeat shippers in Mississauga. He was stupid to let it go that far.. but he's a crazy Italian and will likely burn someone's house to the ground if he doesn't see some money soon..

It is situations like this that keep guys like Scamchaser in business. If you happen to be one of the unpaid carriers in this mess, it might be a worthwhile to call him.
