ROYAL BANK OF CANADA VENDORS LIST DOWN AT LEAST 2 WEEKS - HERE IS SOLUTION TO PAY YOUR VENDORS

Hi All
For those of you with a business account at RBC the vendors pay area has not been working for at least 2 weeks. They are unsure what is causing this and have yet to fix it. I pay my carriers quickly so this has been frustrating. I call every 2 to 3 days to see what is happening. I did request an immediate increase to 25 000.00 per day for etransfer so i could use that route instead of the vendors payment area but that takes approximately 10 days to be approved. grrrr. I called today and a guy told me they found a temporary solution. Go to pay vendors/employees, manage recipients and hit the edit pencil on the vendor you want to pay , scroll down to the very bottom without changing any information for that vendor and it says pay vendor. Click on that and proceed with amount etc. If anyone owes you money and says that RBC is having an issue please share this with them. I have told RBC that they should be emailing every business client to advise the issue that is happening and the solution to use for now. I hope they listen to me lol Thanks all hope this helps !
 
I've been experiencing the same thing too and what I've been doing is just manually unchecking all the vendors who are not to be paid... it is definitely a lot more time consuming then what it should be. When I called RBC, they have no urgency to fix this and can't provide a definite answer lol.

I tried that trying to get to a carrier that starts with a "T" by the time I am in the F's, I get logged out. this new way is so much faster. One staff told me the more complaints the higher the escalation will go . I love RBC have used them for business accounts for years but the way this issue has been handled is very unprofessional and really providing very poor customer service. Keep calling!

I little faster way to uncheck all the unnecessary vendors is tab / space... This saves you a lot of time to un check all the vendors you dont one to pay. Just a heads up I would leave 1 or two checked at the top because if you accidently uncheck them all you are back to square one.

Hopefully they do fix this issue asap, major inconvenience if you have 10+ weekly vendors to pay.

yes for only 1 at a time but at least you can do the max 25 000.00 per day :)

I never understood the $25,000 limit. It is our hard earned money and can't even have access to all the funds. I find RBC fees are quite high and having these service interruptions doesn't help their cause lol. Only if I knew that BMO offers $0 business banking before I would have went that route.
