Transcore Link

My first intention here is not to come rushing out to the aid of link, but I must say that the task of monitoring all the carriers/ brokers out there is a daunting task.

The management at link must tread carefully when and if they decide to cut off an account. If they are wrong they could easily be per sued in court by the harmed party, that would be looking to recoup lost revenue.

I do agree with collegues that state that we do not need a run down on each activity of a bad payer, a simple notification would be enough.

I am not sure that this site is the proper location for a collection agency to be airing someones bad laundry. On the other hand the information given seem to be accurate and helpful.

DRC,

With all due respect I'm scratching my head. I will stand behind a victimized trucker 200%. What difference does it make if I'm a member of the link or not my customers are the link members who are getting stung. Of course the link is not in favor of me because I'm pushing them to be loyal to their customers which in a lot of cases they are NOT. Many truckers have said this to me and I've seen it with my own eyes, the link prefers to look the other way. Such as the Kingston, GHK deal I pointed out. It was a obvious mockery, it was quickly ID that Tony under another name was still eating off of the site and it was further insult the link looked the other way. What were they thinking, what's the Load Link logic here?. We don't have enough Load Link complaints in place against GHK to figure out Tony is a "Baddie" please?! Again it's about weeding the bad guys out quickly to prevent their pollution from growing. I get a lot of positive feed back in the trucking industry they appreciate having knowledge about, as Mike, Jr. puts it the Baddies. I'll tell you whats sickening the link has knowledge that some guy is ripping a company off by $1,000.00's & $1,000.00's of dollars, in return the Load Link exercises their index finger presses a button, you then receive the same letter, "We acknowledge your claim at this point we need to monitor this customer". In the mean time they still eat off of the link and take the attitude they get a free pass if the link doesn't care why should the scum bag broker/ trucker care if the trucker gets paid or not. That's the last signal you want to give these no good for nothings.

As far as my posting's tell me specify what is wrong with it and please don't send me an ethic or moral response elaborate "What's makes you so tired of it"? For example first posting Beware Routex is being chased for outstanding freight bills. Second posting Routex has multiple claims pending at the Load Link it's ultimatum time, right Load Link? What is wrong with this, please explain. By the way I don't post daily. You're throwing illusion into your argument which is uncalled for.

As far as collections and being creative I promise you it's an absolute given. I know how to work the format worst case scenario just as good as you

I have a difficult time processing as to why someone would become tired of my posting's. If I was a victimized trucker I would want to know there are multiple claims pending against a nonpayer with the Load Link or anyone else especially when that seems to be the only time the link steps up to the plate.

Here's another fold with respect to Routex according to the link site before I got involved they showed Routex having no surety bond which is inaccurate. They've had a bond in place since 1993 granted it's $10,000.00 which is not much, there's multiple claims pending but the point is the links record were not accurate thanks to me that was included in my customers complaint lodge. Whether the link adjusted their records I don't know but call me one sided all the customers want done is for the link to step up to the plate and it ultimatum time for Routex. I also pointed out to the link and this is another bad sign, it eliminates all hope that Routex can change to have better business methods. We in form the link that per the bond company Andy Sabo has been dodging the bond company representative for 2 weeks.

Sincerely,
Tom Lebarron

Alx,

Reading your posting it appears you flip flop. Notice there's no flipping or flopping on my end. I go straight down the middle with my accurate and useful information. As this site would say you hit it on the nail in terms of accurate and useful.

Tom

I can see that you like to toot your own horn!!!

I am always skeptical when someone has such a high opinion of themselves.

As for flip flopping, what I had expressed was my opinion and merely stated that Link cannot simply go about closing accounts without a preponderance of proof.

Most of us partaking in this forum are directly involved in the transportation industry, we are not in debt recovery or finance.

It is now plainly evident that several other patrons of this site, myself included find your rantings tiresome.

Most of us are not 100% satisfied with link's load board , but due to the fact that there is no viable alternative , we are stuck with it and do our best to extend credit carefully.

Tom,

This thread originally pertained to ROUTEX. Get back on track and do it quickly - or this thread and your account on this forum will be closed off.

I am not getting into a pissing match with you again. You've been warned...you've been told...you know what you can and cannot do on this board.

I ask all other members to refrain from posting information here that doesn't pertain to ROUTEX as it will be deleted.

Enough is enough - the matter is closed.

I am chasing a invoice from Routex as well. Getting the same run around as well. They had always answered the phone until yesterday. I have been calling since yesterday and the office is closed. Does anyone know if the company has closed their doors or is this normal that they don't answer the phone.

My 2 cents is:

- you have yet another broker without even a website .. how the heck are they marketing themselves
- they are widely believed to be living off of the double broker deal
- they're kicked off the Link so their access to Canadian carrier capacity is quite limited

Probably the end of the road for them.

Guys, I would urge that whenever you work with a new company (particularly a broker), check them out online! I can understand why a small carrier would not want an internet domain though I disagree with it. But as a broker, even though one is not necessarily counting on the internet to generate sales, I know for sure that my customers and prospects check out our company on the internet on a regular basis as a means of finding what's new and how we are presenting ourselves publicly. A broker without a website is a HUGE red flag as far as I'm concerned. The only thing that's worse is when a company who is obviously a non-asset based broker presents itself as a carrier.
