They've hauled some flatbed shipments for us. Did a good job.

We booked a load a few months ago with them, first time ever using them and they broke down "20 miles away from the shipper" ended up having to recover it. Yes, shit happens but doesn't look good on the first load we gave them IMO.

Fenchurch is one of the newest players in the insurer market. They have taken on a lot of business and it seems like a large number of the companies they insure are new to the market or have come from the facility market. There has been a number of companies lately that have had their FMCSA authorities revoked and Fenchurch seems to be the insurer listed more often than others.

It may just be happen chance but some of us are of the opine that Fenchurch took on too much risky business and are cleaning house by adjusting the billing to the correct amount or cancelling policies for real risky carriers.

RK Haulers is a company that received their authorities in April 2023 so they have one year under their belt and are insured with Fenchurch. During that the year they had their authorities revoked Feb 26-April 15, 2024 due to a lapse in their insurance policy.

Thanks for the explanation. They picked up and delivered fine, but I will be cautious for future loads.
