Caught these people trying to double broker a load out of Cambridge today. Luckily we were able to go direct with the Landstar agent who actually had the load. Contacts are a John or Jessica

6/6/14 took our load to pick up in Laredo, TX - didn't show up and didn't bother picking up our calls past 16:00 EST. Monday we checked and they advised the driver reported it picked up but couldn't load our LTL on the truck because of "weight issues", said they would send drivers back in around noon. Called at noon, "30 mins away", called 30 mins later and they were "5 miles away". 3 hours past, driver didn't show. We sent someone else in. Oh and btw, no answer after 16:00 EST yet again. Ignored calls, said they sent emails when they didn't and overall atrocious service. YUCK! Ctc was John and Jessica too.

We did a couple loads for them but make them pay credit card. I got a bad feeling about them while discussing load info with them and I think bubba-one is correct that it is Nas from Everest. I question him and he started fumbling his response.

Thanks to all who posted about Rapid Transport. I looked into an shipment recently completed for Rapid and found it was double brokered. I called the original broker who gladly set us up and will pay us directly.

Here we go again, if these folks offer you a load that you need check out Internet Truckstop before you pick up the load. Seems they like to take the loads from US brokers off Internet Truckstop and post them to Link for the rest of us to see. The majority of US brokers do not like double brokers and will give you the load direct if you make the call.

We got burned by them too. Sent us in for a "new" piece of machinery in WA and after repeatedly asking them if they were sure it was new, turned out to be used, no 72-hour done, freight wasn't even close to the dimensions they quoted and didn't fit ... our driver tried everything, to no avail. Found out from the shipper who the "real" broker was - a US broker ... they gave us all the info and sure enough, had to leave it behind. When we tried to collect for a "missed pick" they assured us we would be compensated to absolutely no avail. John and Jessica are absolute liars. We will never haul for them again. DO NOT USE!

We were bitten as well by Rapid Transport. We moved a load, loaded once loaded the driver sent in the paperwork on the BOL had the name of one of our biggest load broker customers. We called to inquire and behold... the load was double brokered. Rapid Trans went back to the original broker our customer and tried to bad mouth us. Wow another one on the DNU list... might have to change the list to a book (how many of these people are out there)
