Beware...Beware of Ram Western Express - 173 Advance Blvd - Brampton 905-595-1570.

Short paid one of our invoices a ridiculous amount for one day late - nothing indicated on agreement.

Still waiting on a cheque for another invoice that has been sitting in owners office - Lionel - since beginning of September. Averaging well over 90 days to pay. Lionel is NEVER in the office - horrible company to deal with - zero communication. Alot of negative chatter going around with drivers also....

we have been screwed by them before too. Short paid then told us they would make it up to us. I gave them freight 5 years ago and was an expedite, shipment delivered 3 days later. Amazing they are still in business

They started using a factoring company and moved to to a new location 601 Carnactic drive in North York......

I wouldnt use them to deliver my garbage to the curb.

Just fined them myself the other day for missing a pick up and other related carrier issues.

Otherwise.. I don't find them that bad... just have to keep on them

They do good work for me locally but they have never owed me money.

As i said before the local service has always been good however their service to western canada stinks he (Anitto) has lied to me every time I've traced it. Didn't call me today to let me know there was a service failure I had to trace, wait on hold for 6 minutes and call back to hear my shipment will get there Monday and i'm pretty sure it hasnt even left yet. He picked up ltl Monday going to Calgary with a team deliver by Saturday.

5years ago we gave them an expidite with a $200.00 bonus if it made it on time. It was late and we shortpaid the $200.00 but paid the agreed rate. Never heard a word until 3 years later when someone else in our office gave them another shipment. They picked it up and demanded a certified cheque for the $200.00 plus payment for the shipment they were holding hostage.
Had to go to the bank and certify a cheque and meet thier driver. Good thing I was on holidays at the time or I might be sharing a cell with OJ. now.

Was on hold for about 10min and it seemed like they were just passing the phone around to each other and that was on Jan 13/09 so I hung up and called on the 14th and no one has answered the phone since. I called the 800 # today and strangely enough they answered so I asked for a/p and was put on hold for 10min again. If you are owed money I suggest you head over there b4 they are done packing up and out the door.

I dont know how people can take them to office???!!!!

When I was chasing Ram Western for payment - I dealt with "Salma" in accounts payable....last post from "Salma" very interesting...one in the same here???

No way!! Not the same person. I am Salma Transport from Kitchener,ON. I also was dealing with Salma in a/p, then Laverne. They cannot seem to keep anyone in a/p very long...
Ram still owes us for an LTL from September.

We had a very bad experience with Ram Western. Was promised they would pickup freight off my dock by noon, and didnt show up till 4. Freight was supposed to deliver at 4pm. Have put on our do not use list, as that was the their third strike with us.

They are saying no money for 2 or 3 weeks, and we have invoices over due.

I would take it right to the customer - collect from them - you will wait forever on Lionel and if he does pay you - will probably cut the invoice back for basically any reason under the sun....

Not worth the hassle...
