i called rba finanacial today, to see if they still handing in invoices. She told me they owe them money, not good, she say they have double brokered freight and double billed invoices, she say it is a complete mess. Called shawn asked him how they still working, he said local freight only.

What did he say about payment? He owes us from September 2008 and his customer paid him in October!!
Has anyone successfully collected any money from him?

After reading a few of these postings sent invoice to customer directly and got a cheque less then 30 days.

Seeing Ram Western on the forum just made my blood boil!
I finished reading through all the posts, and now have a funny story.
Back about a year ago or so I had an outstanding invoice from Ram that was well over 90 days. I got the same run around from Lionel that everyone else has posted about.
I called the office, got put on hold.
Called back, got put on hold.
I kept calling back over and over and over, now it was a game to me. Eventually they call forwarded their phone to their fax number.
So I started faxing them, over and over.
Then I would call back, they threatened to call the police if I didn't stop harrassing them.
I told them I would stop when I got paid.
Finally Lionel comes on the phone, says I can pick up a cheque at his office the next day.
So the next afternoon I paid a visit to their office.
I was greeted at the inside door by a nice friendly lady, when I told her I was there to pick up a cheque from Lionel her whole tone changed dramatically. She became stern faced and told me to wait out in the reception area.
A short time later another carrier showed up looking for a cheque too. Then a third a short time after that! After 10-15 minutes of waiting Annitto came to tell us that Lionel would be back shortly, he just went to the bank.
So the 3 of us started chatting while we waited for our cheques.
After another 20 minutes Annitto came out and said Lionel wasn't going to be able to come back, there had been a problem at the bank. Go figure!
Duped again.
But the story doesn't end there.
The 3 of us realized it was a waste of time there, so we continued our conversation out in the parking lot.
All of a sudden we were greeted by 2 of Peel Regions finest! Seems the nice lady inside called the police because she felt threatened by the 3 men outside. When the police interviewed us we said, if we were indeed threatening, would we be waiting outside for the police to show up?
The police officers went inside and demanded to speak with Lionel, who was inside the whole time. The told him to have our cheques ready by the next morning or the officers would be back to file a complaint with us. The nice lady was also warned not to call the police in non emergencies.
After all that I still ended up having to invoice their client, who did eventually pay me in full.

Funny Astro would be mentioned here. Had a truck on with Lionel and Astro and a couple of other principles which I won't name. Worst move I ever made to work for a "FRIEND". That was in 1990 and Lionel is still around. So am I but nobody hates me but my ex.

We has taken them to small claims and got judgement, but still couldn't get the money, anyone know about Ram's bank information? it'd be very helpful to us. Thanks!
