Question: thoughts and comments please

As for that truck, that is the owners show truck and a lot of trucking companies have them. That does not reflect on their standards at all. That is a hobby and everyone has one. Where the owner decides to spend his profits is irrelevant. We're all in business to turn a profit and pass our time however we want.

JRod, I'll bet the show truck is in Flying Eagle's name and everything spent on the truck comes out of the corporate bank account. Therefore when he doesn't pay his bills he is spending other people's money on his "toy".

Ralph is probably right. And you are correct as well JRod ... owners can have their toys. The owner should be proud of that truck. It's a beautiful work of art, but flaunting it on the company website is maybe a bit much.
Other people's reactions will be exactly the same as mine ... "look at that" and "where's my money?"
Same premise as the saleman showing up at your office to sell you something, only he's driving a brand new Mercedes, and you still drive your 2001 Pontiac Sunfire. Sticks in your craw a little bit.

The reality of the situation is probably as simple as this ... the guy is likely an excellent carrier. Someone known to him was in a jam and asked if he could help move a load, so he did. At the end of the day he got bit in the ass because the someone stiffed him. I'm sure it's happened to all of us. I know it's happened to me. The difference is, most will suck it up, bite the bullet, pay the carrier's bill, chalk it up as a lesson learned, and add it to the "I'll get even with that customer one day" list.
This guy didn't (so far). Now it's become a matter of principle and public discussion. Neither of which I am sure he never intended.
