Hi Guys
just wondering

if i have 2 skids 109x53x101 can i put them side by side and make it a wide load by having total 106 wide?

or can we make it a wide load by putting them 109 wide and 53 long?

Please someone, correct me if I'm wrong, but 99.5% I'm right on this :

Nope, you can't create a wide load - so by putting them side by side, you do.

Can you cannot put them as 109 wide either. If there is a way to put the pieces on the deck without it being a ' oversize ' load, you are required by law to do so.

you need to put one piece 109'' long x 53'' wide and then the other piece after to give you a total of 218'' of deck.

No other way to do so.

Cheers!

Nope you can certainly not do that .......Will require just under 19 feet of deckspace on a flat flat...If you could lay them on side ...a big if !! You could stack them, but would require a stepdeck, due to the 106" height.

The best way to answer your question Paul....... is you can never "make" a wide load. A load is either wide or legal right from the get go. Your question isn't that strange or infrequent. We get the same query from many of our customers looking to save some money on shipping. As mentioned already, you need 19 feet of deck space for this shipment.
