This is not true, i dont recall such an eventfor the most part they were ok, but we had a load in which the confirmation had the wrong del time, we advised correct time over the phone and sent email advising the correct time. No one paid attention, they arrived late and couldn't get offloaded. They basically held the freight till they got a revised for going in next day and said it was our fault for the original issue, even though we corrected the times immediately. I asked if they felt holding my freight till they got a revised for something that they missed on an email was worth losing our business over - they said yes !... needless to say - we don't work with companies like this. too bad - they were pretty good up until that comment !
The matter of who is at fault argument is pointless.This one i remember, yes, you were at fault, i'm sure of it.
