Poor performance

M.N. Carriers Ltd.....gentleman named Monty, no he's not a gentleman,
recently hired to bring load from SLC to GTA....actually the pu went very well, some error on client side but we compensated generously, but trucker made small error on in bond manifest and Monty did everything he could to get out of dealing with it. We had client fly in from CHI to clear load prior to delivery and this bugger did everything he could to make the situation go from bad to worse. Bottom line, when the dispatcher, Monty, is screaming at me and our client on 3 way call, because he won't listen to instructions how to fix his driver's mistake, he went from solution to problem. :(

That's odd. I've used MN Carriers several times a week for many years and Monty have never been anything but professional and pleasant to work with.

Parasite

Please give more detail as to what the driver's mistake was regarding the US bond.
Was it a T.I.B. or a T. & E.

We have heard that the fines for infractions are quite severe and would like to avoid getting any in the future.

Not clearing a bond, not being able to prove a bond was cleared (signed & stamped) could cost the carrier a $100,000 USD fine.

Thanks Buzzy

My apologies to Parasite.

I had miss understood. Thought load was in bond in the USA. Re reading your post . I gather the freight entered towards GTA. , under a Canadian bond.

We care thinking of Getting a US bond , but heard the fines are monstrous. Buzzy just confirmed that.
