Darlene, you left out the part where the pallets were supposed to be picked up by your linehaul driver but your P&D company in Winnipeg sent a 3 ton instead. We had to break down the pallets for your driver so they would fit into the truck. You also left out the part where some bags got damaged at your P&D dock or perhaps enroute. Oh yeah, you also left out the part about where you claimed there were 9 pallets shipped when we had 6 neatly wrapped pallets waiting for a linehaul driver.

You made it sound like we didn't pay you anything when in fact we paid you less the damages. I agree that there were 3 bags short but that wasn't the claim. There were 3 bags damaged somewhere between our dock and my customer. Did you pass the cost on to your P&D company? You were notified of the damages immediately so please don't make it sound like you were surprised by the deduction. Mr. T. Doyle was aware because I spoke to him personally as Mike was unavailable.

If you are suggesting that we shouldn't hold carriers responsible for damages then I guess you made it to our DNU list as well. Perhaps you want to find another P&D company in Winnipeg that provides better and damage free service. You didn't even get the original amount right, it was $600 minus $20/bag x 3 = $540 after deductions.
