Petro-Canada Changes Effective August 1 – Fleets Looking for an Alternative?
Many fleets may already be aware that effective August 1, Petro-Canada commercial locations will only accept Petro-Canada SuperPass cards. With BVD transitioning to its newly acquired Husky network, BVD fuel cards will no longer be accepted at Petro-Canada locations.
For fleets that rely on Petro-Canada, this creates an important decision.
The good news is that MaxPro is now one of the few authorized Petro-Canada fuel card aggregators in Canada, meaning fleets can continue accessing the Petro network after August 1 without interruption. While also giving coverage on the Irving network as-well.
We've been serving Canadian trucking fleets since 2012 and today work with 350+ carriers across Canada and the United States.
Our current network includes:
- Petro-Canada (250+ commercial locations)
- Irving
- TA / Petro in the U.S.
- Additional fuel networks coming soon
Fuel is one of the largest operating costs for any fleet, and we've helped hundreds of carriers reduce that expense over the past decade.
