We had a bad experience with this carrier today.

We booked a load with them this morning, confirmed pick up appointment for noon. According to Baul in dispatch his truck was empty and ready to roll @ 10:00 am. After several tracing calls where the pick up time kept getting pushed out I was finally informed at 14:00 that they could not get into the pick up today and would not make our requested delivery.

I strongly suspect that they were putting other freight on their trailer as our load was a partial load booked as a full in order to make the requested delivery. Beware using this carrier...they couldn't tell the truth if they wanted to.

was wondering about them they seem to post a few loads every week to NS/NF, seems odd unless they are pulling up out of USA and selling.................

Not a bad company - payment is really quick..
I received my cheque in 24 days.
Owners are former truck drivers from what I've heard.

Picked up on time with their truck and was at delivery this morning an hour early, little issues getting them on phone early this morning but would use again.

They have their own trucks, but their service is not the best.

I've given him TL's Toronto to Montreal on 8 occasions over the past two years. There hasn't been any service failures noted in our system.

We had a very similar experience with Peel Cartage. Booked a load with them and then we couldn't get a hold of anyone to answer any questions. We would get through to them and they would put us on hold and never come back, or hang up on us. Multiple times we asked for updates and each time they updated us, it was a different lie. First time booking a load with them and already had to put them on the DNU list. Definitely won't be using them again.

My error... Peel Transport was the Carrier I had dealt with. We have not had any dealings with Peel Cartage (and likely will not ever).

THEY DO NOT PAY, I called to collect on $700 owing from September 2014 and I was told by Ken (or so he says) that he already paid twice, and do I want payment again? I said I only want proof that he paid, and he said how am I suppose to prove something from 2014. I said that's your problem and you are responsible to provide proof of payment, he told me to F-OFF and hung up the phone.....WOW very professional!!!

Small Claims Court...I'd like to see him tell the Judge to "f-off"....hehehehehehehe
