Just dealt with them this year in Apr 2024 and still not get paid yet. They sent us the cheque and when we deposit it got bounced. Gary Sooch is the person who answers every time we called. No positive response till now.
Contacted their customer and they said they already paid the company.
 
Pursue the customer. You have every right to get paid for your services.

The customer will end up going to the carrier to get this resolved and that carrier will probably lose their trust and business.
 
Contact an experienced transportation paralegal (less expensive than a lawyer and at this point, unnecessary ) and have them contact both Peak Logistics and the customer. Don’t let old receivables sit. Unlike wine, they do not get better with age, quite the opposite in fact. Be sure you have all your paperwork in order and correct. Incomplete, ambiguous or incorrect paperwork can scuttle an otherwise straightforward claim for unpaid services. The first 30, 60 or 90 days( your choice), the onus is on the debtor to pay, after that, the responsibility shifts to you to ensure you get what is owed to you.
