Panjaab Transport placed into receivership

I am sure there are many truckers turned trucking company owners reading Jim’s post scratching their heads and saying….huh???? Unfortunately that is a major problem in our industry, a serious lack of business experience. Being a great trucker, fabulous baker or an excellent candle stick maker, doesn’t automatically mean you will be a successful businessman.

so much of the problem with the industry is baked into this observation

Pablo Escobar likely thought the same about his industry.

Evidently, businesses don't survive long on such models.
I don't think the business plan was ever to 'succeed' in the traditional sense. Sounds like these guys were there to scam starting from day 1. Hopefully they're not allowed to buy back for pennies on the dollar like Pride.

I met the guy Sunny in early -mid 2025, when i was looking for a dispatcher job. This guy clearly told our payment to drivers, dispatchers is 2-3 months behind. As if i was a volunteer, he without any shame stated you can work for us but we cant pay you on scheduled date - one month we pay few staff members and next month remaining employees. LOL, i just ran away. Man has built an empire making poor guys work and not paying them.
Similarly to what Mr Flatbeds did, seems like trucking companies these days dont think people have no families to feed
