I have 2 loads shipping from Orangeburg, NY to Edmonton, AB Dec. 3rd and 10th. I need high cube dry vans for this move. Anyone interested in this please send me a message.

Thanks

Loadlooker, if RK in MB gives these loads to a broker, who then gives them to a carrier, you now have a triple brokered load! I think you will find that is frowned upon by all members of this site.

I once gave this load to someone I thought would load their own truck and it turned out it got brokered. I won't say the name of the company but if they were based in Kingston, they would be named after the town. After that fiasco, I will not give this freight to a broker to give to someone else without knowing who is hauling it and them providing me with a letter releasing all parties on the bill of lading from any liability for payment and that they accept responsibility for obtaining payment from the company they got the freight from, no one else. See my posting "This is a new one for me!" to see how a simple thing can explode in your face.

Loadlooker, thank you but no thank you.

Loaders, how do I know the RK in MB is a broker????
If I dont have a clue then how would I know this would be triple brokered? Dont assume I know this as I did not. Of course this is frowned upon as I would not and do not do this ever.
RK in MB good luck to you try J & R Hall in Ayr Ont. ask for Paul he is a good friend.

If indeed RK in MB is a carrier, and I have no reason to suspect otherwise, it would still be a doubled brokered load if he gave it to broker. I believe it is the intention of anyone posting excess freight, that it should only be handled by a carrier. By all means, if it is a lane that a broker is familiar with and knows which carriers service that lane, feel free to recommend one.

For the record, we are a Carrier. The freight that I have in NY is for one of our warehousing customers and it requires dry vans which we do not have. That is why I am brokering it.

My intent was to try to help, nothing else. No offence to anyone. No double/triple/quadruple/ infinity brokering intended.
As my company has freight going daily to the west coast, thought it may help.

Orangeburg, NY ready now

Afternoon everyone, I have another shipment ready to go out of Orangeburg, NY back to Edmonton. Trailer must be 100 in. wide for this and the shipper closes at 3:00 pm on Wednesday. I am looking for someone who can take it to Edmonton or load it and take it to their dock in ON and cross-dock it onto another carrier.

Let me know please and thanks
