What's the best way to get this company's attention? ...Trying to collect $10k from them for a while now....

Are the loads all from the same shipper or different shippers? If you've got some invoices - same shipper involved - call and speak to the owner (bypass accounting - get to the one who signs the cheque). Let him/her know you've been on ignore with their staff - and will have to get all parties involved on the bills of lading if payment is not sent.

In my experience - an owner may not know what delays/lack of communication is going on with their Accounts Payable. Time to go higher up the ladder if you've "been in ignore" for awhile.

Is this a Link customer? I couldn't find them....

Owner Robert Orange is who I've been trying to get... he doesn't answer his phone and doesn't return calls. I'm not sure if it is a link customer. I'm finding out from my client about whether or not there are common shippers and/or consignees. Invoices go back to 2012 though... We'll see what happens! I work in a law office that helps trucking companies... I don't know what this client was thinking, waiting so long to do something about this. Hopefully it's not going to be a write-off for them!

2 years is too late to proceed legally. I was under the assumption these were recent transactions. Yes...left it way too late....

They are not on Link - I did a full member search.

Invoices range from May to September 2012 so there is still a bit of time... we aren't considering suing at this stage though... We are a law firm that tries to collect money over the phone on a commission. It's similar to a collection agency, but through a lawyer instead. We recently got this account against Orange Delta, so I was just seeing if anyone on here knows anything about them... It's our first time trying to collect from them so they are new to us. So far we haven't been able to talk to anyone. My client is currently looking through the paperwork to see if any common shippers and/or consignees so we can play that angle if we are unable to get anyone on the phone fairly soon.

We deal with over 120 carriers across Canada so as you could imagine, we get a lot of repeated offenders. When we get one that we haven't had before, I try to research a bit to see what I can find out about them.

here is what we were able to determine
The business is or was run out of the guy's house
last time we called we received an answer from a Linda Orange who was speaking on behalf of the company and confirmed this was the place but different phone # or something , not really sure as she sounded panicked
# we called 604-538-0561
the address at the time was 13741 Malabar Ave White Rock, BC, V4B 2X8
