One Call Express - Brampton

Frustrating experience on my first load with these guys. KY-QC LTL, arrived a day late, which happens, but it was the communication.... Got a different story every time I called, "sorry freight is on the wrong trailer" (3 times), "sorry wrong Samsara tracking link" (twice, never did get the right one), "sorry been dealing with a big problem in Missouri, North Carolina, Samsara...". Whether they were being untruthful or were actually that disorganized, it just got to the point where there was really no point in relaying updates from them to my customer.

Doncan team, the matter you are reporting was an honest mistake by the dock personnel upon the trans-loading of the LTL from our ON terminal and I understand this might have left a bad taste in your mouth as it was our first shipment together. Also, regarding this order you are reporting I personally provided you with a discounted rate for all the inconveniences that occurred in transit on this order. I'm sorry that we didn't agree to cut the original contracted rate by half as you requested but I do believe we compensated you more than fair as we reduced the amount by $150.00 each day it was late. Hopefully we can do some future business together to give you a better experience for next time, as One Call being an LTL carrier with fresh growth of the business, we can make mistakes time to time. Thank you!

Our company is registered since 2015 formally known as Rosko Grewal Transport Inc., and we used to be a 1 truck 1 trailer carrier up until 2023, is when we grew our business for Cross-border / North America wide. This company is now on our "Do Not Use" list. They took a partial load from us and promised delivery to Ohio the next day. After following up, we were told the driver was stuck at the border, only to later find out the load had been returned to Mississauga. They then held the load hostage until we sent an e-transfer to have it released. It's frustrating that companies like this are tarnishing the reputation of the transport industry.

I am aware of the matter you are reporting and the employee that caused this disturbance was terminated from One Call Express Inc. We strongly apologize for the mis-behavior and inconveniences that was caused by this employee and assure you that we are in business for long term relationships and value all our partners/customers. We work with ALL your other companies North America wide till date and have had no similar issues to report, we would appreciate a second chance to make it up to you as well. Thank you!
Full of crap! The worker is still employed with you. Nothings changed and based on the last report in this thread, it seems you're just as bad as word goes around. Definitely would not recommend this business handle your freight, as it will end up being a nightmare!

The LTL shipment picked up Thursday November 7th 2024 and was advised prior to pick up that the delivery will be on Monday November 11th 2024 and NOT the next day. Secondly you got advised at 6:30AM Monday morning that our truck has been held for customs since 5:30AM (SHORT HAUL LOAD) due to the matching LTL not being cleared for border clearance. We had kept your offices and team updated every 2 hours regarding the status of our other shipments, at 4:30PM upon rejection of customs we had advised you that the shipment is returning to our Mississauga ON terminal and we will need to unload the matching LTL and replan this order. Monday evening we also, advised you that we would need sometime to replan the order and if you wanted to source another carrier to speed up the process, we can transload the freight from our dock in Mississauga ON as we have been totally screwed on this trip. Thirdly, we never held the freight hostage for payment as per below screen shot of our first email with you it shows in the subject line "ON-OH LTL QP 3.5% SAME DAY E-TRANSFER." We had advised you prior to pick up that it is our first time doing business with you and we cannot accept your 60 days payment terms as our receivables is Net 30-35 and that if you have any COD Q.P options we can proceed with the freight as its our first time doing business together. The agreement since the start was COD payment with 3.5% deduction via E-Transfer as it was our first time doing business together, our offices had kept the communications on point and had kept transparency since the start to avoid any confusions for either party. If you require termination letter of the employee in question along with incident report you can email us directly at safety@onecallexpress.ca and we can have HR send the full detailed report over. We do not tolerate abusive behavior towards anyone and as advised prior till date we still work with your other companies North America wide. Ummm yeah no thanks! Probably a bogus letter. I fully spoke with the person AFTER you said they were terminated. I believe your actions have tarnished yourselves. I'm good for "proof" or anything else.
