I received this email last week from a carrier I work with... I have never had dealings with them myself.

I got a lovely call from Rick the owner.. Told me to take this down.. and that I'm a loser behind a computer.. and to fly to AB to be face to face.. not answering the phone is hiding from everyone period ...
After he ranted and raved and called me every name under the sun.. he stated that a cheque was cut and the number is 0123 .. SO we'll see.. I told Rick .. If he paid he bills.. this wouldn't off happened..

off topic: that number is similar to the combination for my luggage which is 1,2,3,4.

If you can't pay you can't pay.. it happens. But be honest and up front about it. Don't hide or ignore phone calls. I had a shipper awhile back tell me straight up that he wasn't going to pay me because he couldn't. He took the initiative to call me too.. even though I'm not thrilled about writing off $850.00 I respect him for being man enough to do the right thing.

Not sure how long the have been around but maybe they are just confused on filling out cheques since that one is #0123 obviously haven't written too many.
