This carrier... where do I start.
Booked two loads with them back on Jan 12 and Jan 15. Port Allen, LA to Edmonton, AB
First load Picked up on time, Second load picked up a day late.

First load was supposed to deliver on the 18th, didn't end up delivering until Jan 26th..... Crazy stories about drivers quitting, truck breaking down, trailers breaking down. Second load was involved as well with more crazy stories. Was supposed to deliver on July 22nd, and only delivering TODAY... Jesus. So much bull crap from the carrier, every one of them a lie. Complete and Outright lies.

On Tuesday last week, I got tired of all the excuses and got involved directly. Started investigating and got the customs paperwork from the broker to find out that they had taken my loads that were to move OTR, and put them on the rail. With UP, then cross docked in Bensonville, IL and then put on CP from there.

I had all this proof, and everything, and dispatch kept telling me I was wrong and that it was cleared and just had some mechanical issues with the Trailer. Unreal. Forwarded him all the documents I had on the two loads, and Nothing, no response, no apology, no nothing.

Finally the load delivered yesterday - Unreal. I would suggest never using this carrier if you want your freight delivered on time. Cannot wait till they ask me when they are getting paid....

Weallw8, you found this carrier on the Link or DAT? have you tried reporting them to those companies?

Was through Link, I believe they are hooked through DAT though. I will report them to Link today and see what comes of it.
 
And the kicker.. if you hold up their pay (likely through a factor) they/the factoring co.'will report you as a slow payer. Better to get it over with and then lose their number.

Contact the Factoring company right away and show them the proof, you dont have them a OTR rate when it went via Rail and you dont have to pay them at all when they double brokered the load. (provided it's in the terms and conditions of you Rate confirmations).

Also report them on carrier411.com, (i hope you have an account with them)
 
Oh, I will pay them. But the stories as to why it will be later than they want will be much more colorful than what I got.
