Northwind Freight

Sad to read that. A guy who works there, Tom aka The Champ, is a great guy and I've known him since he was at BLM. SAFER shows a good safety rating and I'm surprised to see they only have 6 trucks. I want to say there's a correlation between fleet size and payables but can't. But I think I'm going to politely suggest it lol...

Anyone getting money out of these guys.Drivers have not been payed in 3months and are refusing to go out.If they cant pay them they probably not paying anything eles??????:

Tom does what Tom does. Tom does not pay the bills there he only works for north wind.They only have 2trucks not 6, and they have not move in Jan-Feb.If someone has been giving them loads who been doing them?not north wind drivers.No money No trucks No move.

Isn't/wasn't there a familial relationship between the shipper and North Winds?
 
you might be thinking about the Traffic Manager at Canplas and his son...who owns a logistics company...
 
I drove by thier place Friday and saw 1 highway truck, 1 city truck and 5 van trailers. I couldn't tell if either truck had valid plates
 
Livingthedream....are you sure you are not thinking of another company....I think the son is/was tied into another 3pl and not an acutal carrier. I also believe they BOTH (canplas and the 3pl) were named in a lawsuit by the actual carrier for non payment.
