NFI double brokers

Nfi

What are you trying to say here? NFI double brokered or carrier?

Good Morning, If you are reading this post koolride can you please clarify as I believe NFI doubled broker one of our loads this past week....so not sure if this is a trend or not. Brampton location not NJ location. Thank you

I personally know someone at NFI and know they are a reputable company. I can't see them double-brokering because it's entirely possible they may share lanes with other carriers that have the same customer. Was a PAPS processed under a different SCAC code than NFI's?

NFI does have their own trucks. And just to clarify they did not double broker a load, it was another company called NFI Logistics that did this to us. Lesson learned again. Although it was doubled broker there were no other issues, so that was at least a good ending to that story.

NFI is actually based in NJ and in the US has well over 2000 trucks. In Canada, roughly 40. Also warehousing all over the US and in Canada, locations in Brampton, Laval, and Edmonton.

The Mississauga HQ offices is where the trucks are run out for the most part ... some are actually run from an integrated location at Loblaw Ajax and there are a couple of O/Os running from NB. The offices in NB and MB are satelite brokerage sales/operations locations.

NFI Logistics would actually indicate that it was actually routed from NJ rather than Canada.
