Hello everyone,
I wanted to share my recent experience with a company called NEW HORIZON CARGO. Unfortunately, they turned out to be fraudulent and refused to pay for the freight services rendered.
Initially, I accepted a job with New Horizon Cargo, enticed by their higher payment rates compared to the market standard. However, after completing one load and requesting quick payment, I encountered issues.
Subsequently, I booked two more loads with them, still hoping for the best due to the favorable payment terms. However, when my driver attempted to pick up the second load, New Horizon Cargo abruptly canceled it and instructed us to return the shipment to the shipper.
Upon inspection of the Bill of Lading (BOL), I discovered that the load was associated with another company entirely. Upon contacting them, they confirmed that New Horizon Cargo is not good and warned us about their fraudulent practices. Furthermore, they revealed that New Horizon Cargo had misrepresented the payment amount.
I decided not to proceed with the third load and returned it to the original broker, opting not to transport it to the USA.
It's worth noting that New Horizon Cargo also attempted to deceive us with fake wire transfer confirmations, claiming payment had been made when it hadn't.
Despite the losses incurred—totaling almost $2000 USD—I'm grateful that I was able to recoup some expenses by following my instincts and securing payment for fuel costs. here is their INFO
