Newell's express / starbase global

I did a search on them, couldn't come up with anything negative.

Their D&B was decent at 4.99 and 69, which is on the high end of the low end, they are almost into the green.

I haven't done any work with them yet, but will let you know when I do.
 
Starbase logistics/Newell Express

Starbase is a 3rd party - Freight Forwarder
Ground GTA handled via Newell's Express - owned by Jay Newell who also owns Starboard. Fleet size unknown but most likely supported by owner operators. CVOR/License/Insurance under Newell's - Owned vehicles only. Payment terms unknown at this time.

nevermind on the update.
They have no idea what their freight is or dims, but asked for 1/2 ld rate rate. mine was 50 bucks higher than the one other guy that quoted (for half load without specifics). First question was "can you match the other guy"
I said no.
Jeez I hate that question for 50 bucks.
 
Any new information on Newell's Express? How is their payment trend? Do they pay with in terms?
Any body dealt with them recently?
 
We have done 4 shipments for them in the last 4 months. Average 35 days.
 
Does anyone know about the ownership of these companies? They have come up in my research while trying to collect on an unpaid freight bill from Beyon Logistics. See thread Here:

I was informed there may be some connection between the owner of Beyon Logistics Peter Wischnewsky and Starbase Global, and somehow also Jay Newall of Newall's Express. I have called Newell's Express today at (905) 671-1675 but of course, the number is out of service.

Staff at Starbase Global claim that Peter is not associated with their business.
 
Thank you. Perhaps I was calling an old number, I found it online, but not on their website. I have since heard back from Peter at Beyon Logistics and am trying to get him to pay for our work. Someone had suggested a connection between Peter and Newell, but I haven't seen any evidence of that and I have no concerns with Newell myself.
 
I have now been paid in full by Peter at Beyon Logistics. I have also spoken to Jay Newell and confirmed there is no connection between his company Newell's Express and Peter of Beyon Logistics.

I have also not found any connection between Starbase Global Logistics and Beyon Logistics.
