I have a customer that has 5 Skids / Dry Van Freight in Newark NJ area to go to Columbus OH.

Nothing weird... Just looking for regular LTL service.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks

Call up William Palumbo trucking out of Jersey City NJ.
They are our GTNY agents and offer excellent service. If they cannot do it I am sure that they will have a reputable reference for you.

New England Motor Freight, YRC, Old Dominion, Conway. Usually only good if you have a relationship and get a good discount, but I use them all frequently for my US- US Small LTL business.

Thanks for the input here folks.

I did move the freight via Landair Express of New England / The Reliance Network (Landair picked it up and transferred to Pitt-Ohio).

Transit time: 2 Days

Web based tracking and cost was just over 400.00

Appreciate all the suggestions.

Thanks NPB

Would you be able to fwd contact info for Pilot?

I'm supposed to have another move next week.

Thanks,

Nawk,

Here's the link to the info for the terminal you should contact:

Pilot

Hope that helps! You'll want to establish an account with them. They have service comparable to A. Duie Pyle and maybe even a bit better than them, if I could give an example of who they are like service-wise. They're nationwide, actually.

Thanks... That's my plan. To send them my credit info today... get an account open and rates in place for the next move.

Appreciate you taking the time sir.

Cheers,
