New Century Transportation

A factoring company is not in first place when funds were to be held in trust . The carrier comes first.
 
The names i have received from a third party are Guennadi Khotsinski of New Century and Denis Gourski of E-Conomy. I was told they were both from Poland, not USSR. Not that it matters. Factoring companies that receive payments for loads that have been brokered, are responsible to use these funds to pay the actual carriers.
 
i just found out that Khotsinski is also the director of NCT freight and logistics inc. Not just New Century. Funny enough, NCT and E Conomy finance( who is representing New Century now) use the same office address at 196 Bradwick dr. in Concord. A little too coincidental for me. Ill call them again tomorrow.
 
It is a normal practice if a carrier is factoring for invoices to have same address as factor so no funny business there.
Neither of these individuals are from Poland not that it matters. And in my experience your best recource is consignee not factor though it is worth trying of course. In any case economy is a member here among others they'd be best to confirm either way.
 
That is interesting. You are suggesting that many trucking companies use their factoring companies address? i have never witnessed this. I will pursue the shipper, but if they paid the factoring company, they would be responsible to pay. E-conomy knows we are owed for these loads, as are New Century. Thanks for your help. Where are these people from? You seem to know them??
 
I called E Conomy Finance group at 8.05 am today. I called the number 416 . 913.5691 which is listed as E Conomy Finances main number. I reached a lady who indicated i was calling Denis Gourski at his home? Denis Gourski is The President of E Conomy. These guys seem like a small business and i am more and more confused .
 
The factoring company (related or not, who knows at this point) will take the position that they paid New Century in full for the load and that you should do likewise, pay them in full. In normal circumstances, your recourse for the deductions would be to file suit against New Century for failure to provide the service you contracted with them. In this case however, New Century seems to have disappeared completely and legal proceedings against them would be a waste of time. The fact that you never signed the assignment letter is mute, as you have in the past paid the factor for New Century invoices, thereby establishing a pattern of payment in spite of the unsigned assignment letter. From the sound of things this situation will continue to get messy as more victims of this disappearing company come forward.
 
if you are paying them for something New Century did then i would deduct and let them come after you but if it is another customer then you would have to pay.
 
Their team needs 4 days in Summer months for a load from San Francisco to Woodbridge.
And when you call for updates they said our people driver safe.
