Yeah, I'd sure like to know too. What I want to know after reading this entire thread, is what was the name on the side of the trailer that brought it back?

I think NFFI has about as much shame as they have power units.I'll take a PM also.
I'm sure the BOL used didn't list your client as shipper either as it's been all over the country and cross docked 100 times.

Please look at the Inco Term in order to win your load back.Hi Folks,
We have found ourselves in a pickle and looking to see if anyone on here is hauling this load.
We gave a load to Gilson Freight (based in Niagara Falls) from Ontario to BC. Was supposed to deliver yesterday. Got the usual "truck is broken down" routine. Today, Devinder from National Freight Forwarding calls our customer saying that they have the load and it is in quarantine because it was given to them by a fraudulent company. We call Devinder directly and he claims this load was given to him by Tesla Logistics. We tell Devinder that we will pay him directly since he is hauling the load. He sends us pictures of the freight, BOL and the truck. We explain we will pay him once he delivers and sends us the signed BOL and an invoice for the amount we were paying Gilson Freight. Devinder then tells us that he has 3 loads with Tesla totaling 23k and we must pay him the entire 23k before he delivers our load.
It is a longshot, but does anyone on here have a driver named Gurdeep Singh that is currently hauling a load from ON to Abbostford, BC?

Hi Mike,I feel for you my friend.
We are STILL entangled in our mess. These scammers just don't care about how ethical business is done in our industry/country. They have zero regard for deadlines, customers, drivers, other companies, laws, protocols, etc.
I just hope enough light is being shined on all of these types that the pendulum starts to swing from evil to good eventually. I still say something on CBC Marketplace or the like would go a long way. Name the names, companies, confront their owners on TV, etc. It might help them scatter.
Get ready to spend 12 hours per day on your mess for the next month. It is that time-consuming trying to detangle from their web...
