Where is the actual MTS transport from I keep seeing USA and Canada We have had trouble with them taking loads holding loads and asking for pre payment
please everyone be careful on who you deal with out of Quebec.

Did you not ask for a copy of their Certificate of Insurance prior to booking the load? It should have their full corporate name and address on it.

I've dealt with MTS Logistics International at 120 Orenda Rd, Brampton. They avg 60 days to pay and double broker portions of the loads they book I.E. they will book 8 skids from Calgary to Albany and haul it to thier dock in Brampton and broker the 2nd leg out and vice versa. There's also a MTS (Martin Transportation Systems) based in Grand Rapids Michigan that I see in Ontario all the time but they don't seem like a book and hold hostage type of carrier.

why would anyone give or accept freight to these shady company at all, chances are for the price you paid someone who would have done the job properly could have been hired!
