Be careful if you are dealing with Michael Jr @ Morrice Logistics. Booked a load yesterday morning for today out of Bowling Green, KY. Driver got empty in Nashville around 10AM and sent him on his way for the pick up. At 11:45 Michael Jr calls and informs us that he can't get a pick-up appointment for today! There is no mention of any pick up appointment needed on his confirmation and he made no mention of it when we booked the load. Oh well, sometimes these things happen, ask him if he can cover my cost of $100 for the layover (of which 100% goes to the driver). His answer, NO. So now I've travelled 65 miles empty and my chances of booking something else for today are slim to none, thanks ever so much. Oh and just to top it off, my driver was already at the pick up, asked for the load and the shipper told him the load was cancelled. So not only is he a piece of s*%t in my books, he's a lying piece of s*%t as well.

I would like to apologize to Micheal Jr @ Lodwick. Apparently it was all a mis-communication/mis-understanding between us. He does have a load for us, he was having trouble contacting the shipper. I would especially like to apologize for the last two comments I made in my post. No matter how bad my day was going I have no right to attack someone personally.

morrice sent me in too and they could not get a load number.

They paid me $100 and i found another load

It's great to see people take care of honest mistakes. If you are ever stuck down in that region we have loads out of Mount Juliet TN on a fairly regular basis, PM me and I can hook you up with dispatch. You seem like a company that we want to deal with and yes we pay our bills in 30 days.

I just had Morrice Logistics call on one of my posts. Asked if it would be on his truck. He said no. It would be on one of his "partners".
At least he was honest.....?

I should've check this post before giving them some loads...Problems after problems !! Next time, I'll check !!! Can believe I'm stuck with them....

I gave them a load once only to find out it was given to USF holland... DNU

I don't know yet if it was given to another carrier, but trust me, they earned a place on our DNU list for sure !!!

I have had two out of two bad experiences while using them as a carrier.

I had booked them on a Thursday to do a Friday pick up (FTL) in Sacramento, CA. They were fully aware that they had to pick up before 2:00 PM and they assured me that they would be able to make it.
Unfortunately, that didn't happen and I had to hire a team on Monday to get it back on time.

A couple of months later, I booked them to pick up 5 pallets in Cuba, MO., which they did. However, on the delivery, my customer called to complain that it was stacked floor to ceiling and that it was almost impossible to unload the truck. I know that it did not get loaded that way, so they must have cross docked it at their warehouse in Windsor.

They are definitely on my DNU list.

They also cross dock at Speedy Trspt in Brampton.

I've had to hire a cartage agent to go there to pick up freight that they couldn't deliver on time in the GTA

I would especially like to apologize for the last two comments I made in my post. No matter how bad my day was going I have no right to attack someone personally.

Just hit the edit button and remove it!

They did the same thing to us...guaranteed on time pick up and delivery. Neither was fulfilled. They double brokered the freight with USF Holland and then it got stuck in customs because they didn't provide USF with the proper custom broker which I had clearly supplied to Morrice Logistics. DNU!

Now it makes me wonder that my dispatch did load for Morrice and it may be double brokered. From California to BC.
