We got a call from Montreal Express for a load from BC we checked there credit it was not very good. So we agreed to take the load when they gave us a post dated check for 30 days. We delivered the load as promised then the put a stop payment on the check. Has anyone else had this experience with them ?

Don't quote me on this...But I believe when a company does that it is considered fraudulent in the eyes of the law.

They go by various names/initials and are sneaky little buggers. They are on our DNU list for being the shady characters that you describe. Their actions are fraudulent below, contact the shipper and consignee before they pay MET... I've a feeling you'll save yourself some gray hair!!

we have dealt with them for about 2 years now. We still have them at approximately 43 days. they expect the original PODs. Thats the sole issue we had with them initially. Email ella, she replies within a day. Have a good day!

Try management@mettransport.ca She is pretty good at responding. They pay about 45 to 60 days but insist on Original PODs we 've done about 15 loads with them. All paid but nothing within the past 2 months.

So the website isn't active. And using MET as a trade name is sneaky ... you may be led to thinking it's the MET from Mississauga (Metro Express Terminals) but definitely not. Probably double brokering ...

Isn't MET division of Manitoulin?

That was my point, using a good name to hide themselves. MET is the part of Manitoulin that does the local P&D work in the GTA.

I have had no issue with MET, Meyers, or Manitoulin. They are all different companies though for sure!

Met Transport or Montreal Express. One of the guys is Oman. Crooks crooks, double broker and don't pay the carrier who did the work. Also invoices your company twice for one load with two different invoice numbers. I still wonder if they are linked to East West transport Johnny G.?? anyone know?
